Email jagusisjagus@gmail.com. Tell us your device, iOS version and what you were doing, and attach the sample if you can.
Getting started
Tap Import and pick a file, record from the microphone or paste audio. To try the app without your own sample, choose Demo loop in the Import menu. Chopdeck shows the BPM and key; tap either one to correct it. Pick Grid, Transients or Manual to chop, then play the pads.
Restoring Chopdeck Pro
In the app, tap Unlock Pro and then Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. Family Sharing is on, so people in your family group get Pro too.
Using the plugin
Import samples in the Chopdeck app first. Then add Chopdeck as an Audio Unit instrument in AUM, Loopy Pro, Logic Pro for iPad, GarageBand or another host, and open your session from the plugin. Pads play from MIDI notes 36–99 on channel 1 (36–51 on channels 2–4 for banks B–D). If the plugin says a sample is missing, open the session again in the app or import the file from inside the plugin.
No sound? Check that Chopdeck Pro is unlocked (the plugin is silent when locked), that the host is sending MIDI to the plugin's track, and that the plugin's Output level isn't turned down.
Exporting for MPC (beta)
Tap Export and choose Export for MPC. Copy the "MPC Kit" folder (or unzip the .zip) to your MPC's drive and load the .xpm file. Pad A01 is note 36. This export is in beta: if a pad sounds wrong on your MPC, email us your MPC model and firmware version.
Exporting an Ableton Drum Rack (beta)
Tap Export and choose Ableton Drum Rack. Unzip the folder on your computer and drag the .adg into a MIDI track in Live 11 or 12. Keep the WAV files next to the .adg so Live can find them. This export is in beta too: tell us if anything doesn't load.
Limits
Samples up to 4 minutes long; up to 64 slices on 4 banks of 16 pads.
