Privacy Policy
The short version: Chopdeck does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers of ours. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Your audio stays on your device
Samples you import, paste or open in Chopdeck are copied into the app's storage on your device, together with your chops, pad settings and patterns. They are kept in a folder shared between the Chopdeck app and the Chopdeck plugin, so the plugin can open what you imported in the app. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Your sessions are included in your normal iCloud or computer backup if you have that turned on.
Microphone
Chopdeck uses the microphone only when you choose "Record with microphone". The recording is saved on your device as a sample for you to chop. It is never sent anywhere.
Exports
When you export WAV slices, MIDI, an MPC kit or an Ableton Drum Rack, the files are saved in Chopdeck's folder in the Files app, or sent wherever you choose in the share sheet. Where they go from there is up to you.
The plugin
When Chopdeck runs as an Audio Unit plugin inside another app, it reads your sessions from the shared folder on your device, and its settings are saved inside that app's project, the same as any other plugin. Chopdeck does not see or collect anything else from the host app.
Purchases
Chopdeck Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information about you. The app checks your purchase with Apple on your device.

Children

Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and its effective date, and the app will ask for your consent before any data leaves your device.
